In this article, I will share with you the basics of digital marketing which is based on my online research, so this article will be beneficial for a freelancer, social media influencer, DM consultant, and entrepreneur also.
Digital Marketing today has become a very generic term. With so much going on around in this field today, but digital marketing is not different from market and marketing. market– is based on the demand-supply principle which is demand creates it’s own supply. marketing:- understanding of consumer’s demand and give it supply by focused communication. definitely, A new word (digital) has come here which is stands for the ‘medium of communication’.

1. THE WHY —
“People don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it. And what you do simply proves what you believe.”
– Simon Sinek
Knowing your Why will allow you to better connect with your pursuit at its core. It prevents you from getting distracted along the way. It will also help you stay focused on the absolute determination.
Without the basic realization and understanding of the Why of your endeavor, you wouldn’t know what to do, where to go, how to create something of your own.
Everything starts with Why.
A. Why invest time and energy in learning marketing?

— Digital Marketing gives immediate ROI
If you learn digital marketing, it doesn’t need to be to get a digital marketing job. In most of the other fields such as Law, Medicine, Engineering… you learn them so that you can get a job in that field. Yes, some people start businesses in the same field in the long run, but the return on investment is not immediate.
However, if you know digital marketing, you can use it to grow your business. And you can learn digital marketing for 2–3 months and immediately start using the knowledge to grow your business.
— Marketing Education has a long shelf life
A few decades ago lots of learners were Curious about coding and decoding for set-up blogs and develop the website, but what’s about now we don’t have much need of coding for the blog. WordPress gave us the freedom that we have no need for knowledge of coding Start your own blog.
same way plenty of services would be automatic in the future as the study of law, doctors would be outsourced.
But the skill of Marketing can’t be automated because it is based upon human psychology, strong communication with consumers, understanding of economics. No computer can create such communication and interaction with humans.
— It can not be outsourced completely
Many entrepreneurs depend on the marketer, the entrepreneur thinks that the marketer will sell their product easily, due to this thinking, the entrepreneur goes beyond the understanding of the market, while the truth is that Marketing of the product is done before the product is made, during this time the needs are we have to understand the consumers need. Hence marketing cannot be outsourced to the fullest.
B. Digital Marketing Vs Traditional Marketing
As a famous author (Thomas Piketty) has written in one of his book the Indian market is divided into three parts (tier1, tier2 tier3) first two have a strong internet connection, have the ability to consume online material; the third one is not the same as first and second. therefore traditional ads still relevant in the Indian market.
- Indian has TVs in 197 million homes out of 298 million homes. With an average of 4–5 members per household, TV has a reach of 800 million to 1 billion people. The reach of digital marketing is nowhere close to TV based on numbers alone. (Source: Wikipedia)

- Digital Marketing is the best way medium to reach the affluent English-speaking population in India with spending power. Near about 100 Million Users.
And Another side traditional marketing has some limitations just like we can’t do personalise Communication with traditional marketing, we can’t do Deep Marketing with traditional marketing, we can’t do Natural sales with traditional marketing. From this point of view online marketing performance best.
2. THE WHAT —
A. What is Digital Marketing ?…
digital marketing is not different from market and marketing. market– is based on the demand-supply principle which is demand creates it’s own supply. marketing:- understanding of consumer’s demand and give it supply by focused communication. definitely, A new word (digital) has come here which is stands for the ‘medium of communication’.
- Marketing is about sending the right message, to the right person, at the right time.
- Marketing is not just about selling. It is also about keeping an existing customer happy by communicating with them so that they can remain a customer for life. If we think logically, then it will be easier and cheaper to keep the old customer happy than to make a new customer.
- The purpose of marketing is to build a brand and capture a position in the minds of the consumers.

B.What are the laws (fundamentals) of Marketing ?.
Marketing is based on science, not on creativity because marketing starts before creating the product. It starts with understanding the customer’s needs.
- Marketing is not just helping people to discover product but also have a good perception of the product
let me simplify it that people who have branded products like Mercedes Benz(tagline:-The Best or Nothing ), Apple iPad… (tagline:- Think different ), etc, so they feel that they are special from the others. This type of perception of the product also comes under marketing.
- Marketing is a game of perceptions. The product is rooted in reality. Never let marketing become more imp than the product. A great product sells itself.
- Marketing is just about a game of building trust, in this time there is much scarcity to build trust. Once a Marketer wins consumers’ trust then he can make selling easy.
Basically, what happens when a firm/company is more focused on the product in the comparison of the market to a product, the consumer gets the quality of the product, and this thing brings trust. Once trust is built then the real game starts from here that the first-time buyer becomes repeat customer and repeat customer changed into brand ambassador, very interesting thing is that it happens automatically.
C. nC.A.T.T. Marketing Funnel /Marketing Framework

T- Trust, Build trust with our audience by using marketing automation, deep marketing, and all.
T- Transaction, Convertout leads into customers with Natural sales methods.
D. Niche Selection and Market Analysis
Successful Intrapreneur, Successful Businessman, Successful Marketer … each of those persons who set up millstone in their field followed one system. the system means adisciplined way to do work.
For example, if any of us want to begin a start-up, then he must follow the same system that the startup owners do.
What is the system to begin any start-up? So, there is the Mass Trust Blueprint; which we are going to discuss in the next section of this article

Come back to the point there is a system with the selection of Niches, But the problem with the newbie marketer is that they don’t follow the niche selection system. newbie marketer wants to compete with Health, Earning, Career, and Relation. In these types of niches, there is already have much competition. We have to remember one thing that,
Competition can never be eliminated, and anyway, a little competition is beneficial for a healthy market.
When it comes to niche selection, four major broad niches are covering pretty much all of the searches on the Internet.
Within each of these niches are hundreds of sub-niches and micro-niches.

what is age?
what is gender.?
what is the occupation?
what is residential?.
….etc. because of this understanding marketer can create a buyer’s persona (Customer Avatar ) easily, It is possible to know only with the help of communication.
C. Integrated Digital Marketing

In this blueprint, content marketing is in the center area it’s mean “content is the king.” Through the content, a marketer can create his own email list. , He can do paid advertisement for the same content and with the help of this paid advertisement content comes into Search Engine. Users who gain knowledge from content share the content on Social Media and social media get return traffic into content at the end of all Sell and Conversion happens. It’s called Integrated Digital Marketing Approach.

Before Marketing, we must know about the market. We must know the basics of the world economy’s Fact like :—

— During the recession only strong and trusted companies will survive.
— Theweak ones die off and wither away.
Before Marketing, we must know about Targeted audience—
Who is my market?
For whom I am creating the content?
As we have discussed already that Marketing is the Science and it requires the Analyzed Market, therefore, we can’t do Marketing anywhere. Targeted Audience also as much important as marketing, without a Targeted Audience, Marketing can’t be cost-effective.
